Use Case

Audit trails for agents that compliance teams can use in practice

Scalekix separates agent activity from human activity. Compliance teams receive structured, queryable, exportable logs, with agent identity attached to every event.

Why It Matters

Treat agent activity as auditable events, not background noise

Regulatory frameworks and internal governance policies classify any system that reads or writes sensitive data as an actor requiring audit coverage. An agent querying customer records, writing to a financial ledger, or calling an external API does precisely that, automatically, at scale, on your behalf.

Who did what for regulators

Access reviews, incident investigations, and audit reports increasingly require attribution to the specific actor. "A service account" does not adequately identify an autonomous agent making decisions in production.

Security needs team separation

Combining agent activity with human activity in one access log complicates anomaly detection. Security tools tuned to human behavior create noise when agent traffic lacks a distinct label.

Proof for internal policy

When policy permits agents to read only from designated databases and prohibits writes, you need a control that enforces the rule and generates proof of enforcement. Code assertions do not constitute evidence.

What Scalekix Provides

Keep controls and evidence together

Log schema format

Each audit event follows a consistent JSON schema: event ID, agent ID, agent name, scope used, target resource, HTTP method, status code, latency, and timestamp. No custom parsing is needed.

Policy declaration

The permission scope declared during agent registration becomes the enforced policy. The gateway blocks requests outside that scope and records the rejection. You can present the declared policy alongside its enforcement log.

Review-ready export

Filter audit records by agent, time range, scope, or status, then export them as JSON or CSV. Built to produce the report a reviewer requests without requiring access to production systems.

SIEM connection on Platform tier

Send audit events to your SIEM in real time for continuous monitoring. Works with common log ingestion pipelines. Events carry the agent identity fields needed for alerting rules to distinguish agent actions from human actions.

For teams that need proof of what their agents did

Platform tier includes unlimited log retention, SIEM export, and custom permission namespaces for complex internal governance requirements.
